Greetings! I couldn’t figure out a dandy name for my blog but I did figure that I could pen a column featuring all the random things I get to see, read and eat… if you’re a chef, you’re gonna dig it.

Cookstr.com is a new cooking site dedicated to providing users with great recipes from the best chefs and cookbook authors, it’s got a whole bunch of good stuff happening, and still only running as a beta site, so more good stuff should be around the corners.
Oliveto, it’s only official in my personal opinion, but take a sec to check this out. The team at the Oakland (C.A) hot spot have been writing all about the folks that create the foods that they you. It’s really good especially the Tomato watch section.
The American culinary Oscars are in take a peak to see which chefs and writers won.
